we've been spending the past week making all sorts of autumnal schemes, mostly involving pumpkins in every variety. los angeles, however, seems to have different plans for us. as far as i can tell, my only options to escape the heat are:
ideal: find a cave to hide in until the sun goes down.
ok: lounge by a shady pool.
realistic: make some sort of refreshing cocktail. these will do nicely.
